TRB2020 (Washington, DC.)

From 12 to 16 January 2020

Université Gustave Eiffel took part in the 99th Transportation Research Board (TRB), from 12 to 16 January 2020. The annual TRB congress hosted over 250 exhibitors and included 5,000 project presentations and 800 workshops.

Open Days

The 29 February 2020

Université Gustave Eiffel organised its first Open Days (JPO) to present its courses and schools to future students.

Staff at Université Gustave Eiffel manufactured equipment for medical professionals and hospitals using 3D printing.

In spite of the crisis linked to the Covid-19 pandemic, heads of courses, teaching secretariats and teachers all continued teaching.

Student Sustainability Week

From 20 to 24 April 2020

Members of Cité Descartes (student associations and projects, staff associations, local associations, etc.) proposed a series of initiatives for all local users to raise awareness of the challenges of sustainable development and promote concrete action.

In a videoconference, Frédérique Vidal thanked the students of Université Gustave Eiffel who provided psychological support to other students during lockdown.

Université Gustave Eiffel thanks its 493 generous contributors in 2020. Thanks to the apprenticeship tax payments, the University was able to finance new teaching projects.

 

"All connected!"

The 26 June 2020

The awards ceremony for the 2020 entrepreneurial speed dating event for students from PÉPITE (Student Centre For Innovation, Transfer and Entrepreneurship) establishments was held online as part of the “All connected!” project.

Two projects have been selected in the framework of the Investments for the Future Programme (PIA): “Graduate Programmes for PhDs (GP-DS)” and “Appartenance -- Mutualisation - Integration (AMI UGE)”
